SPECIAL POWER OF ATTORNEY

Note : This format has been prepared as applicable to flats. The word "flat" can be substituted with the type of property for which the power of attorney is being executed. Similarly, the name of the concerned authority can also be changed as applicable. For the sake of convenience, we have italicized such words.

KNOWN TO ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENT THAT I Shri/Shrimati/Kumari __________ __________ son of/daughter of __________ __________ resident of __________ __________ __________ __________ (Nationality Indian) do hereby appoint, nominate and constitute Shri/Shrimati/Kumari__________ resident of __________ __________ __________ (Nationality Indian), as my true and lawful Special Attorney.

And whereas the Executant being unable to look after the affairs of the built-up Flat No. __________ __________ comprising of two bedrooms, one drawing cum dining room, one study room, kitchen, two toilet cum bath room, and balcony situated at __________ __________ __________ built on __________, know as __________ __________, hereby appoint the above named __________ ___________ as his/her Attorney and empower him/her to do the following acts, deeds and things:

"To deposit any dues/ demands with the authorities concerned with my built-up Flat No. __________ built on Plot No. __________, shown in the layout plan of the __________ __________, allotted against Membership No. ____ to do all sorts of correspondence with the D.D.A./ M.C.D. etc. and also to do all acts, deeds and things relating to my aforesaid Flat ."

This power of Attorney is irrevocable.

I hereby ratify and confirm that all actions done by my said Attorney shall be binding on me as if I had done the same personally.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have signed this Special Power Of Attorney on this _______ day of _______, 20__ at Delhi in the presence of the following witnesses.

AND GENERALLY TO DO all acts, deeds and things which are not even specifically mentioned in this deed but are deemed to be fit and necessary by my said attorney / relating to my said Flat .

AND I THE EXECUTANT, do hereby specifically mention that the acts, deeds and things done or got to be done by my said attorney, by virtue of this general power of attorney, in respect of my said Flat be construed as acts, deeds and things done by me.
